What is required to become a Medication Aide?
To enroll in this course, you must be a current CNA with an active license in good standing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry.

Medication Aides are trained to safely administer medications to patients in long-term care settings, working under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support & CPR
Which AHA guidelines are used?
We use the 2025 AHA Guidelines. This ensures you are trained on the latest protocols for Narcan use and high-performance CPR.
How long is my card valid?
Your AHA BLS Provider eCard is valid for two years from the date of your skills check-off.
