Basic Life Support (BLS) Course
In the critical minutes following a cardiac or respiratory arrest, the quality of Basic Life Support (BLS) is the single most significant factor in patient survival. At Moon River Nursing Careers, our 3-hour intensive course is strictly aligned with the latest American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care, ensuring you receive the highest level of evidence-based training available. Our curriculum is designed to transform healthcare providers and students into confident, “rescue-ready” responders who can execute the AHA Chain of Survival with precision.
Basic Life Support (BLS) refers to the immediate care provided during life-threatening emergencies until advanced medical treatment is available. It focuses on early recognition and rapid response, which are two factors strongly linked to improved survival outcomes in cardiac and respiratory emergencies.
BLS training includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and techniques to relieve airway obstruction in adults, children, and infants. Receive your certification within 24 hours after completing the course!
